Leticia Villanueva

Cremation Specialist

In addition to the funeral industry, Leticia has prior work experience at Central Texas Autopsy in Lockhart, Texas, as a Forensic Technician, assisting the Pathologist with the autopsies, releasing decedents, and working with judges as well as Law Enforcement.

"Since Middle School, I have always wanted to be either an Embalmer or a Neonatal Nurse. In about 6th grade, I had a neighbor who would always have a hearse parked in front of his house, and one day I asked my mom if we could go across the street and ask him some questions. He gave me his Restorative Art book to look at and told me he worked at the local Funeral Home. Ever since then, I have been fascinated by the Funeral Industry.

There are so many reasons I enjoy working for ATX Cremation; the most meaningful reason is the families. The families lean on me to guide them through one of the hardest things they have ever done. This warms my heart when a family tells me that I have made a complex process a bit easier. I can never take away that pain, but I can assure them that I am caring for their loved ones with the utmost respect and as if they are my family."

Outside of work, Leticia enjoys spending time with her family, whether going on trips, hanging out, or being involved in her two nieces' extracurricular activities. She is a family girl, and they bring her so much joy.
