Elena Santos recently traded snowy winters in Canada for the warmth of Austin—both in weather and in spirit. Drawn by the sunshine, she quickly discovered what so many already know: everything really is bigger in Texas; especially the hearts of the people who call it home.

Elena’s heart for helping others led her into funeral service, a path inspired by watching family members care for grieving families with compassion and grace. She earned her associate degree from the Canadian College of Funeral Service, worked at Mount Royal University, and later served as a final embalming examiner for students throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.

At ATX Cremation, Elena brings quiet strength and heartfelt care to the families she serves. She knows that sometimes; the first connection is simply a phone call; but that even those moments matter deeply.



"For me, it's about being a steady presence when families feel lost — letting them know they’re not alone, that someone genuinely cares, and that together we are here to guide them. It’s incredibly meaningful to build that relationship,” she shares. “By the time a family comes in to pick up their loved one, there’s already a sense of trust.”

Elena feels honored to walk alongside families during such tender times, offering gentle guidance, sincere care, and a reminder that they’re not alone.
