Jason P. Harrell
Founder ATX Cremation, Funeral Director, Certified Crematory Operator
Jason has been a funeral director since 1994. He founded Frontier Cremations in 2008, became a co-partner at the Harrell Funeral Homes in 2012, purchased Angel Funeral Home in 2017, and founded ATX Cremation in 2018.
Jason offices at Harrell Funeral Home in the South Austin location, and oversees operations for all cremation and funeral home locations including Austin, Kyle, and Dripping Springs.
Leticia Villanueva
Cremation Specialist
Leticia has lived in Austin for 17 years. She graduated from Taylor High School and completed her Associate of Applied Sciences in Funeral Service. She joined the Harrell team in 2023 to serve as a Cremation Specialist leading ATX Cremation. Leticia has almost a decade of experience serving in the specialized segment of the funeral industry focused on cremation and helping people arrange through a digital experience. She is an excellent communicator, very organized, and helps everyone like they were a member of her own family.
Gabriel Bee

Funeral Director
Gabriel Bee was born in Portland, Oregon. During childhood, he lived overseas with his family, spending time in France, Africa, and Indonesia. Eventually, they moved to Sugarland, Texas, and Gabriel has lived in the Lonestar State ever since. Attending Texas Tech, he earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a Creative Writing focus and a Minor in Psychology.

Our Crematory
You may be surprised to learn many online cremation providers outsource the transfer of the deceased and the cremation to low-priced bidders with facilities in industrial areas. ATX Cremation customers have the comfort of knowing their loved one is in the compassionate, capable hands of our trusted affiliate’s staff at Harrell Funeral Home. All cremations are performed at Harrell Funeral Home in Austin, Texas, a licensed crematory established in 2007. Harrell is a very reputable, long standing funeral and cremation provider in Austin and has two crematory managers and many certified crematory operators with decades of experience.
The cremation facilities have strict procedures and ethics that are adhered to and we escort your loved one from the moment they are picked up, to the moment they are returned to you. Each member of the staff commits to the Cremation Code of Ethics, a pledge of honesty and dignity. They each sign an oath that attests to their commitment.
ATX Cremation and Harrell Funeral Home also belong to the Cremation Association of North America (CANA), and pledge to strict standards for providing dignity and respect in the care of the deceased, compassion for the living who survive them, and in the memorialization of life. We desire to create and maintain an atmosphere of respect at all times and take the greatest care in the hiring crematory staff operators. The experienced cremation staff follow a rigid pre-cremation checklist, including eight designated identification checkpoints: Removal of deceased from place of death, transport to crematory; placement in storage, placement in cremator, removal from cremator, processing of the remains, placement in an urn, return to authorized agent.
Two staff members participate in the cremation to assure that your loved one is cared for at the highest standard. With absolute assurances, we cremate one individual at a time and diligently remove and track all cremated remains. ATX Cremations offer viewing of the cremation process, as an add-on service, for those who wish to be present for the start of the cremation process.
